Walmart

Can anyone tell me why is it that when you have to run to Walmart (or Target for that matter) for one thing you come out with an entire cart full of stuff?

This was me today..here is my list for what I needed today

Somehow, and I don't know how this happens, a ton of other stuff found its way into my cart! Things like new panties for my daughter, new flip flops for my daughter, a crazy Tinkerbelle hair extension thing...you guessed it, for my daughter. Bandana's in all different colors so that I can make shirts (from this site I found 15 minute dress from Treyandlucy.blogspot.com and the ribbons for the shirts again for my daughter. Then I got the new mouse for my desktop, but also got a new mouse pad and I needed some of the air in a can stuff, you know to blow the dust off my keyboard and stuff...finally we are making our way to the checkout in the garden center since that is the where we parked. Then my husband starts in with the ' oh I wanted to get a new rake...and we should get some solar powered lights for the walkway in the front yard".

What started out as a $10 trip to Walmart turned into a $120 trip! I ask you again, how does this happen and am I the only one?!

  1. I think almost everyone is like that. It takes tremendous self-control to stick to the list!

  2. I don't think you're the only one, happens to me almost every time we hit the store, no more how good our intentions are!

  3. I can totally relate! I don't think i've ever gone in a store and not bought something extra that i hadn't planned on.
I usually justify it somehow. :)

Your blog is great. I'm following you now. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)

  4. You are so not the only one. You can not simply walk in and get what you need, as we are not men. Instead we must browse and find many things we didn't even know we needed! Damn you Target and Walmart!

  5. Glad I'm not the only one that has this problem. Worse yet...I work at a Target store!
