One Word. YUM!

There is this restaurant here in Phoenix that I used to go to back when I was a working girl...ah, that doesn't sound good, let me rephrase...when I was in the workforce! We would go at least 2ce a week to this mexican restaurant in downtown close to the office. It was to.die.for. Seriously. Authentic Mexican food in a little neighborhood in south Phoenix where you would be afraid to walk alone unless you were armed. For real. Anyway, a couple of years ago, they built a second location in the North part of Phoenix and I hadn't been in, until tonight. Let me just say, the food was totally as good as I remembered.

This is the shredded beef chimichanga with sour cream and guacamole...makes me drool again just looking at it! The restaurant is Carolina's and it wins Best Of Phoenix almost every year. If you are ever in the Valley and looking for a great authentic Mexican restaurant and don't want to spend a ton of money you should definitely check out Carolina's!

  3. I think I used to go to the scary location you're talking about when I worked over on University and the 10. I haven't been to the one over here on Cactus & Cave Creek - is that the N Phx location you're talking about?
