July Fave's

Another month in the books, can you believe July is over?! Gah!

I thought I'd bring back the Favorite's post since it seemed to be pretty popular when I did it last time, and I know it's always one of my favorite types of posts to read so here goes!

July Beauty Favorites!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the scent of the Garnier Cleansing Oil and the Smooth Cleansing Cream, they smell so so so sooooo good!! They are made from jojoba and macadamia oils, so if you or someone in your house have nut allergies, please make sure these are safe to bring into your house before hand. I have a really good friend whose son is deathly allergic to tree nuts and so she cannot even bring stuff like this into the house, just to be safe. The cucumber and avocado cleansing wipes are so nice, they are refreshing and the scent is really light not overwhelming like other brands I've tried. The wipes leave my face feeling clean and refreshed without leaving a ton of residue behind.

Ok, now I have found some really great makeup products over the last few months, but in the last couple of weeks I have gotten some products that I am really loving! I have been looking for a more full coverage drugstore foundation and I found two really great options; Revlon Colorstay and CoverGirl 3-n-1. I just love the coverage these both provide and without feeling like I just have lbs of makeup on my face. I'm also still loving the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. I haven't found another one that compares to this concealer, at least at the drugstore. I finally found the Elf Undereye Setting Powder and its fantastic! It really helps my concealer to not crease as badly. Rimmel Stay Matte powder is just a really nice powder to set the rest of my face. Revlon's shimmer brick is awesome, I haven't ever tried the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, but from what I have heard this Revlon one is a dupe for that high end product. I haven't used lip liners very much in the last 10 years but apparently they are making a comeback so I picked this Rimmel liner up in the color East End Snob. It is a pretty pinkish nude and goes really well with a lot of the lip colors I already wear. Ok, I think we've already established that I'm a lip gloss addict...some might use the term hoarder...I choose the term lip gloss aficionado ;) so I picked up one of the Loreal Color Elixir's in the shade breathtaking apricot. Love it. I love the coverage, its not sheer and gives great color without being sticky.

Okay ladies, let's chat about hair stuff. My hair has been in terrible shape since Asa was born. It's been dry and falling out and lifeless. I have a crap ton of grey's and it's not pretty. It's frizzy and thin and super dry and it just makes me sad. So I've been looking for products to help with all of these issues and while I haven't fixed all the issues with my hair, I think I'm on my way. I started using the Loreal shampoo and conditioner Smooth Intense and I love it. It smells really good and my hair feels much more smooth after using it. I also picked up the Loreal Total Repair 5 hair mask and I think this has made the biggest impact on fixing my hair issues. I've noticed a lot less frizz and dryness at the ends of my hair since using the hair mask. I use it once a week in the shower after I've shampooed and conditioned, I don't want to weigh my hair down so I haven't used it more often. I'm not a huge fan of dry shampoo's but the one I like the best lately is the Batiste wild. I love the way it smells!

That's it for my July Fave's! I'd love to hear what some of your favorites are or if you have any suggestions that I should try out in August!
