Thanks Carissa, my GMA was undiagnosed and unmedicated until my DH and I pressed my parents letting them know that she was not just depressed, there was more to it. Finally my mom pushed and pushed and when GMA's doc wouldn't do anything we found a new doc. It was awful for months.

My hubby is bipolar. I know how it is. It's very hard to deal with. If you are wondering he takes his meds. And alzheimers on top of it would make it even harder. I heard alzheimer's was a tough disease to take care of.
